Pederson enters her sophomore season as a midfielder for the Women of Troy.

As a freshman, Pederson appeared in 17 games and started three times for the Trojans... scored one goal and picked up an assist for two points... finished with 29 draw controls to rank third on the team... had 12 caused turnovers, and five ground balls... scored her goal in a 22-4 win over LIU Brooklyn (March 9)... secured a season-high five draw controls against Fresno State in a 16-6 win (March 28).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Pederson was a four-year lacrosse letterwinner at Coronado High School... as a senior, received US Lacrosse All-American honors, All-CIF First Team, and named league MVP... 2013 Coronado HS Female Athlete of the Year... as a junior, earned All-America and All-CIF First Team honors... honorable mention for California State Attacker of the Year as a sophomore... ranked first for points in 2011... helped her squads to the Arizona State Championships in 2010-11 and the 2012 California CIF DII title... played club lacrosse with OC Elite, West Coast Starz, and X-Team, one year each.

Katherine Elizabeth Pederson was born on May 10, 1995, in Morgan Hill, Calif.... parents are Bill Plunkett and Jane Pederson... has one brother, Erick... father Kent Pederson played tight end at UC Santa Barbara for four years and for the NFL Cincinnati Bengals for one year... prepped at Coronado HS where teammate Kaitlyn Couture also played lacrosse... majoring in cinema critical studies.
