2014-15
Darian DiCianno enters her junior season as a starboard rower for the Women of Troy.
2013-14
As a sophomore, DiCianno rowed primarily from the fifth and seventh seats of the second varsity eight and helped her boat to wins over Louisville, Clemson, and Virginia in the Pac-12 Challenge, and a third-place finish in its grand final at the San Diego Crew Classic. She moved to the varsity four for the NCAA championships and rowed in the bow seat to a sixth-place finish in the grand final.
2012-13
As a freshman, DiCianno rowed from the bow seat of the varsity four to help her boat win the Karen Plumleigh Cortney Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic, to victories in the Lake Natoma Invitational, and to a win over UCLA in the USC-UCLA dual. She moved to the third seat for the NCAA championships and helped the V4 row to two wins in the preliminary heat and the semifinals, and a silver-medal finish in the grand final.
CLUB AND HIGH SCHOOL
DiCianno rowed for Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, Pa., under head coach Mike McKenna. She was invited to the USRowing selection camp as a sophomore and attended the USRowing High Performance Camp in 2010. DiCianno was named the Scholastic League Rookie of the Year during her freshman season and is a three-time Scholastic national champion. She is also a two-time Stotesbury Cup Regatta champion (2010 and 2012) with a runner-up finish in 2011. Her crew placed third at the 2011 Head of the Charles Regatta in the youth eights and claimed first at the 2011 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
