2014: Pitalo became a mainstay in the defensive unit by the end of the 2014 season, appearing in 19 games, starting 11 games, including the last 10-straight as the Trojans made a run at their first NCAA Tournament since 2010...Earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention for the second-straight season (2013).
2013: Pitalo appeared in 17 games, making four starts for the Women of Troy as a sophomore.
2012: Pitalo played in all 19 games and started six as a freshman... Scored two goals... First career goal as a Trojan was vs. Saint Mary's... Also scored at Arizona.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pitalo competed in soccer, basketball and track and field at South Salem High in Oregon... Was a three-time all-league first-teamer and three-time all-valley selection...Named 2010 and 2011 Offensive Player of the Year by the Statesman Journal... Honored as 2011 Female Athlete of the Year by Salem Sports and Breakfast Club... Earned first-team all-state honors from The Oregonian in 2010 and 2011... A nominee for Oregon Sports Awards 2010 Prep Athlete of the Year... Scored 66 goals and had 47 assists in career, including 24 goals and 19 assists as a senior... Played club for Cascade FC, Osurego Southside and Portland Rain, winning State Cup with Cascade in 2008... Competed for Region IV and Oregon ODP... An honor student.
