2020-21: Held the fastest Wildcat time in the 100 back for the third straight year with a time of 52.45, an NCAA B cut and 30th fastest time in the nation.
2019-20: CSCAA All-American in the 100 back…Fastest Wildcat time in the 100 back with a time of 52.00, also the eighth fastest time in program history…Personal best set at Pac-12 Championships and qualified as an NCAA B cut…Second fastest Wildcat time in the 200 back with 1:55.18, an NCAA B cut and personal best…
2018-19: Held the fastest Wildcat time in the 100 back with 52.32 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut... Held the second fastest Wildcat time in the 200 back with 1:56.07 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut... Part of the 200 Medley Relay team with a time of 1:36.09 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA A cut... Part of the 400 Medley Relay team with a time of 3:31.08 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA A cut... Finished in the top-5 of the 100 back nine times including three victories.
High School: A four-time letterwinner at Cinco Ranch HS in the 100 Back and 200IM…Named All-District in Katy ISD and All-Region and All-State at 6A…Earned All-America Honors all four years…Received a silver cord for maintaining a 3.5 GPA…Holds the school record in the 100 back, 200IM, free relay, and medley relay…Named Female Swimmer of the Meet at Regionals all four years.
Personal: Born Aria I Bernal on June 21, 2000 to Isidore and Michelle Bernal in Houston, Texas…Has a brother, David Micheal, and sister Sophia …Earned a degree in Environmental Sciences from Arizona and is now pursuing a Master's in Gerontology while looking to continue into Urban Planning…Likes to draw and paint in her free time... Career goal to implement green infrastructure into marginalized communities.

- At Pac-12’s, Bernal placed 6th in the 100y backstroke (52.67) and 11th in the 200y backstroke (1:57.64). She also helped USC finish 10th in the 200y medley relay (backstroke leg)
- At the NCAA Championships, Bernal helped USC to a 10th-place finish in the 400y medley relay (backstroke leg)
