• Finished 24th in the 200y back (1:53.02) and 48th in the 100y back (53.17) at the NCAA Championships
• Tied the pool record in the 200y back (1:52.55) at the SMU Last Chance Invite
• Finished fourth in the 200y back (1:52.95) and 18th in the 100y back (52.97) at the Big Ten Championships
2023-24 SEASON:
• At the Pac-12 Championships, Barnes finished 20th in the 100y backstroke (54.79) and 16th in the 200y backstroke (1:58.45)
HIGH SCHOOL: At Prospect High, Lindsay competed in swimming, water polo, cross country and volleyball ... She was awarded Female Athlete of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year at Prospect in spring 2023 ... Helped bring team to win leagues her senior year, and helped qualify the girls' relay for Central Coast Section for the first time in over five years ... Broke the school 200y IM and 100y backstroke records ... In the 100y backstroke, placed 2nd at CCS and 5th at States ... Was a Scholastic All-American in 2021-22.
