Wheatley prepped at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, Calif., under head coach Andrew Mabry... 2013 Under Armour Girls[apos] High School All-America preseason honorable mention... 2013 PrepVolleyball Senior Ace to Watch and PrepVolleyball Top 100... 2012 and 2013 CIF First Team... 2013 All-Orange County First Team... 2013 California All-State... two-time All-Trinity League First Team (2012-13)... 2013 Trinity League MVP... Orange County All-Star Game MVP... helped lead OLHS to 2013 Trinity League championship... led her team in kills, blocks, and digs... graduated magna cum laude (4.29 GPA)... member of the California Scholarship Federation... and four-year member of National Honors Society.
CLUB VOLLEYBALL
Wheatley played club volleyball for Goldenwest for four years and then for Club Troy VBC under head coach Tim Nollan for four years... won the 2012 Junior Olympics bronze medal with Club Troy.

Taylor Juliane Wheatley was born on July 17, 1996, in Newport Beach, Calif.... parents are Bob and Julie Wheatley... father Bob Sr. played basketball for USC and mother Julie was a Trojan song girl... has two brothers, Bobby and Brent... brother Bobby played baseball at USC and is now a pitcher for the MLB Toronto Blue Jays... brother Brent is a pitcher for the USC baseball team... a travel and photography enthusiast... names legendary runner Steve Prefontaine as her sports hero... majoring in communications with ambitions to become a news reporter.
