HIGH SCHOOL: O'Farriell was a first team All-CIF Central Coast Section selection in 2003 and 2004... Named to all-league first team as a senior and junior, and second team as a sophomore... Picked for San Jose Mercury News All-CCS First Team as a senior and junior... St. Francis High team won CIF CCS title in 2002 and 2003... Holds school record for career assists (106) and steals (323), and is second all-time in single-season scoring with 66 goals her senior season... Earned Academic High Honors and was a Scholar Athlete all four years... Plays club for Stanford Water Polo... Named First Team All-American at 2004 Junior Nationals and Junior Olympics as a 14- and 16-under... Stanford team won silver at the 2004 Senior Nationals.
PERSONAL: O'Farriell is majoring in biology... Parents are Karen and Edwin... One sister, Tiffany, played water polo at USC, and her other sister, Lindsey, currently plays at LMU... Lists cooking and sewing as her favorite pasttimes... Birthdate is Oct. 21, 1987.
