THIS SEASON: Tamar Kazanjian enters her first season at USC.
AT PIERCE COLLEGE: Kazanjian attended Pierce College for two years, competing for the women’s water polo team under coach Moriah van Norman, a Olympic silver medalist who was an NCAA Champion and Cutino Award winner at USC Trojans… Named to all-conference first team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kazanjian played water polo and swam at Agoura High, helping to set the CIF record for most consecutive league wins with 126... Reached the CIF Division II Semifinals in 2015… Played club for Los Angeles Water Polo... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Kazanjian is majoring in health and human sciences with a minor in occupational science and hopes to pursue a career as a physician’s assistant… Parents are Eddie and Houri… Has two siblings, Talar and Vatche… Older sister Talar swam at Pierce College, transferred to USC and graduated in 2013… Brother Vatche played water polo at Pepperdine… Enjoys spending time with friends and family and going to the beach… Lists Roger Federer as her biggest sports hero… Favorite food is tacos… Favorite film is Elf and favorite TV shows are Game of Thrones, One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl… She hopes to one day road trip to all the National Parks in the U.S… She plans to attend physician assistant school and work in the medical field after graduation… Born on Feb. 8, 1997.
