Personal: Delgado was born June 13, 2002 to parents Megan and Felipe Delgado. Father, Felipe went to the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games as a swimmer for Ecuador, and has served as Anicka's coach.
DELGADO'S PERSONAL RECORDS:
- 4x CSCAA All-American (200 free relay, 400 medley relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay)
- 4x Pac-12 Champion - 50y Free (21.95) , 200y Free Relay, 400y Freestyle Relay and 400y Medley Relay
- At the Pac-12 Championships, Delgado also placed 7th in the 100y butterfly (52.01), 5th in the 100y free (48.20) and helped USC to finish 2nd in the 200y Medley relay
- At the NCAA Championships, Delgado finished 31st in the 50y free (22.11), 48th in the 100y butterfly (52.89), and 50th in the 100y free (48.85). She also helped USC to a 7th place finish in the 800y free relay, a 4th place in the 200y free relay, a fifth in the 400y medley relay and a 6th place in the 400y free relay
- Helped USC set school records in three events during the 2023-24 season - 200y freestyle relay, 200y medley relay and the 400y medley relay
- Representing Ecuador at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Delgado finished 26th in the 50m Free (25.43)
- CSCAA All-American Honorable Mention (200y medley relay, 400y medley relay and the 400y free relay)
- At Pac-12’s, Delgado placed 4th in the 100y free (48.26), tied for 5th with USC’s Hanna Henderson in the 50y free (22.30) and finished 9th in the100y butterfly (52.25). Delgado also helped USC to a 3rd place finish in the 200y medley relay (fly leg), 3rd in the 200y free relay, 4th in the 800y free relay and participated in the 400y medley relay
- At the NCAA Championships, Delgado placed 26th in the 50y free (22.22), 41st in the 100y fly (52.88) and 46th in the 100y free (49.06). She also helped USC to tenth-place finishes in the 200y medley relay and 400y medley relay (butterfly legs), along with an 11th-place finish in the 400y free relay
- Set a new Ecuador national record in the 200 LCM freestyle at the LA Invite (2:02.54)
- Represented Equador at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships
- Delgado turned in a tremendous sophomore campaign, earning All-American honors and capturing a Pac-12 individual title (50y free)
- At the NCAA Championships, Delgado was 20th in the 50y free (22.09) and 33rd in the 100y free (48.57). She was also 46th in the 100y fly (53.40) and appeared in the Trojans school record breaking 400y medley relay (fly leg) that finished 7th. She also helped USC finish 9th in the 200y medley relay (fly leg), 12th in the 200y free relay and 19th in the 400y free relay.
- At Pac-12’s, Delgado was the 50y free Co-Champion after posting a 21.89 to tie with Stanford’s Anya Goeders. She also scored in the 100y fly (fourth, 52.25) and was 9th in the 100y free (48.56). The sophomore also appeared in four Trojan relays ; 200y medley relay (2nd, fly leg), 800y free relay (5th), 400y medley relay (2nd) and 400y free relay (2nd).

- Represented Ecuador at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Delgado was 27th in the 100m free (56.43), 28th in the 50m fly (27.12) and 31st in the 50m free (26.18)
- Delgado, who only swam with the Trojans in 3 meets during her 2021 freshman season, still managed to turn in an impressive rookie campaign, highlighted by an NCAA bid and a Pac-12 podium finish
- Opted to scratch the NCAA Championships to focus on training for the Olympics, won the 100m free, 50m fly and 100m fly while representing Ecuador at the 2021 South American Championships. Her strong performance at the Championships, set her up for an invite to represent Ecuador at the Tokyo Olympics
- At the 2021 Pac-12 Championships, Delgado finished third in the 100y free (48.44), tied for fifth in the 50y free (22.28), and was eighth in the 100y fly (52.72). She also swam in three Trojan relays that earned spots on the podium (200y free, 200y medley, 400y free)
- Earlier in the season, Delgado was second in the 50y free (22.60) and fourth in the 200y free (1:47.56) during USC’s dual meet against UCLA (Feb. 12)
- In Tokyo, Delgado tied for 25th in the 50m free (25.36) and was 31st in the 100m free (55.56), lowering her own Ecuadorian national records in both events at the Olympics.
