Kuyumjian, Oh Have Stellar Performances At Pac-10 Championships

Tempe, Ariz. - Junior Alex Kuyumjian fired a career-low 67 in the final round to tie for seventh individually as the USC men's golf team finished ninth at the Pac-10 Championships held at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz., from April 24-26.
For Kuyumjian, who transferred to USC from College of the Canyons, it was his best showing as a Trojan (71-72-70-67--280). Freshman David Oh tied for 11th thanks to a blistering final two rounds. Oh shot 69 and 68 to finish at 282 overall. Paul Casey of Arizona State won the overall title (66-65-67-67--265), followed by Tim Mickelson of Oregon State (275) and Ricky Barnes of Arizona (278) and John Lepak of Oregon State (278).
Host Arizona State won the team title with a 1384 total, followed by Oregon State (1421), California (1428) and Oregon (1432).
The Trojans next play in the University of Oklahoma's Maxwell Invitational on May 13-14 in Norman, Okla.
