PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - David Bluthenthal and Errick Craven scored 14 points apiece Saturday in leading Southern California to a 60-50 win over Bradley.
Brandon Granville also scored 10 points for the Trojans (3-1), while Sam Clancy pulled down 10 rebounds.
Bolstered by 14 Bradley turnovers, USC used the Braves' miscues for a 17-5 advantage in points off turnovers in the first half, and held the Braves (2-2) to just 6 of 30 field goal shooting en route to a 32-15 halftime lead.
Bradley managed to hold the Trojans to 32 percent field goal shooting for the game. However, the Trojans used their dominant size upfront to outrebound Bradley 48-39, including 20 offensive boards.
The Braves were led by James Gillingham, who completed 9 of 9 free throws, with 13 points and seven rebounds. Phillip Gilbert added 12 points.
