USC's overtime game vs. Oregon was its first ever against the Ducks. It was USC's second OT game this season. The Trojans lost earlier this year to Mississippi, 84-83, in the Yahoo! Sports Invitational in Laie, Hawaii (Dec. 22).
USC is now 48-40 all time in overtime games, 40-36 in single overtime games, 24-19 in overtime games on the road and 30-36 in conference OT games.
USC is now 18-8 (8-6 in the Pac-10). The 18 wins are the most ever by a Henry Bibby-coached USC team.
The win gives USC its first season sweep over Oregon since 1997.
Junior forward David Bluthenthal tied career highs with 29 points and five three-pointers. He set a career high with five steals.
With his 29 points, Bluthenthal now has 806 career points, giving USC five active players with at least 800 points.
With his 21 points, senior forward/center Brian Scalabrine moved into seventh place on USC's all-time scoring list with 1,354.
Sophomore guard Nate Hair made his first start of the season tonight, but went 0-4 from the field.
USC's 87 points was its most against Oregon since scoring 107 at the L.A. Sports Arena in 1982.
