
USC Men's Volleyball Sweeps Pacific

Five Trojans posted double kill figures as the No. 5-ranked USC men's volleyball team swept Pacific on the road, 30-25, 30-25, 30-24, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match on Friday (Feb. 13).
USC improved to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the MPSF, while the Tigers fell to 2-12 overall and remained winless in the MPSF at 0-9.
Sean Dennis and Murphy Troy each had a match-high 13 kills for the Trojans, as Dennis hit .357 and added a match-best 11 digs. USC's Hunter Current had 11 kills while hitting a blazing .688 (no errors on 16 attempts), Tony Ciarelli and Austin Zahn, who hit .533, each had 10 kills, and Luke Morris got 9 digs.
For Pacific, John Hendershot led with 12 kills on a .410 hitting percentage, while Sean Daley had 10 kills (hitting .714).
USC outhit the Tigers in the match, .398 to .263, and the Trojans hit .559 in the first set.
USC next plays at No. 8 Stanford on Saturday (Feb. 14) in another MPSF contest.
