Glissmeyer Earns Pro Tournament Spot In First Try

Recent USC graduate Tom Glissmeyer, who finished his Trojan career by taking third at the 2009 NCAA Championships, qualified for and is playing in his first professional event this week, the Nationwide Tour's Fort Smith Classic at the Hardscrabble C.C. in Fort Smith, Ark.
Glissmeyer earned a spot in the event after a top 7 finish in the qualifying rounds.
The first day of play was Thursday (June 18). The event runs through Sunday. Results are here.
