
USC Opens Fall Schedule At Ping/Golfweek Preview

The USC men's golf team, ranked 13th in Golf World's preseason poll, opens the 2010 fall schedule at the Ping/Golfweek Preview in Stillwater, Okla., Sunday through Tuesday (Sept. 26-28).
Under fifth-year head coach Chris Zambri, the Trojans are coming off of their fourth straight NCAA Championships appearance, taking 15th last season. USC will field a youthful team in 2010-2011 and will feature four sophomores and a freshman in its first event of the season.
The Ping/Golfweek Preview field includes Augusta State, Arizona State, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, UCLA, UNLV, USC and Virginia.

The squad will be led by sophomore T.J. Vogel, a 2010 Freshman All-American, as well as junior Steve Lim (who will miss the opening event to attend a family wedding) and sophomore Martin Trainer, who were both All-West Region performers in 2010.
Joining Trainer and Vogel in Oklahoma this week will be fellow sophomores Sam Smith and Stewart Hagestad as well as freshman Jeffrey Kang. Rounding out the squad are seniors Bo DeHuff and Daniel Park and freshman Ramsey Sahyoun.
