TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Nikola Vucevic had 26 points and 12 rebounds, and Maurice Jones added 14 points to help Southern California beat Arizona State 63-61 Thursday night for a conference road win.
USC (12-9, 4-4 Pac-10) overcame a rash of early turnovers by getting the ball inside to Vucevic and held off the Sun Devils down the stretch.
Arizona State (9-11, 1-7) overcame a rough night from the free-throw line - 12 for 25 - to keep it close until the end, but struggled to get a decent shot on its final possession while trailing by two.
Rihards Kuksiks had 22 and keyed a late run, while Ty Abbott had 19 points for the Sun Devils in their sixth straight conference loss.
