Ishimatsu, Reid Win To Open Trojan Diving Invitational

Trojan Diving Invitational Day 1 Results ![]()
Senior Haley Ishimatsu and junior Sam Adams finished 1-2 on 3-meter while junior transfer Deon Reid won 1-meter to lead USC during the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday (Nov. 7) at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Ishimatsu edged Adams, 318.65 to 309.30 on 3-meter while San Diego State's Alexandra Caplan was third (302.15).
Trojan junior Natalie Kalibat took eighth (271.50), freshman Alexa Cacao was ninth (270.25) and junior Katherine Van Winkle was 11th (260.85).
Reid won the men's 1-meter with 335.50 points, well ahead of Cal Baptist second-place diver Zachary Mullins (226.35). Trojan junior Adam Payne was third (226.15).
Saturday's action begins at 11 a.m. with prelims of men's 3-meter and women's 1-meter with finals at 2:15 p.m. Sunday's platform begins at 11 a.m.
