2015: Reid made his NCAA Championships debut as a 2015 junior, finishing 35th on platform (289.50) and 39th on 3-meter (323.10) ... He earned his first NCAA trip with an eighth on platform at the 2015 Zone E Championships (638.15). He was also ninth on 3-meter (656.70) and 16th on 1-meter (626.70) ... At the 2015 Pac-12s, Reid reached the 3-meter final, finishing seventh (359.40). He was also ninth on platform (313.00) and 15th on 1-meter (250.50). DUKE: Reid advanced to the NCAA Zone B Championships in each of his two seasons at Duke. He was a three-time Zone finalist as a 2014 sophomore and competed on all three boards at the 2013 Zone B meet as a freshman ... At the ACC Championships, he scored on 1-meter and platform in 2014 ... He was third on 1-meter and platform at the 2014 Nike Cup Invitation and was third on platform and fourth on 3-meter at the 2013 Nike Cup.
HIGH SCHOOL: Reid was a four-year diver at Long Beach (Calif.) Poly ... He was a three-time state and division champion and a CIF Master Champion record holder while capturing league championships all four years ... He won a pair of AAU Junior National Diving Championships in 2006 and 2008 and was a member of the U.S. Junior National Diving Team from 2006-2011 ... He was selected the Athlete of the Year by the Long Beach Press Telegram each of his four years in high school.
PERSONAL: He was born on Feb. 19, 1994. He is majoring in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change ... He earned his high school's Pursuit of Excellence Medallion as the top male athlete of the year as a junior and senior and served as Long Beach Poly's International Ambassador as a senior. He attended the Global Youth Leadership Conference in China during the summer of 2010 and earned a spot on the honor roll all four years.
