MATCH NOTES
- USC won its fourth straight match against Washington State and improved to 48-13 all-time against the Cougars.
- The Women of Troy played their third consecutive five-set match at Bohler Gymnasium. USC lost, 3-2, in 2013, but won in both 2014 and 2015.
- The Women of Troy improved to 93-9 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the AVCA poll.
- USC improved to 3-0 in five-set matches this season. All three were road matches.
- The Trojans and Cougars each recorded 13.0 blocks a side. In the season's first meeting (Oct. 2), both teams had 10.0 blocks in the match.
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio had 26 kills and 13 digs to record her 12th double-double of the season and the 52nd of her career.
- With a match-high 31.0 points, Bricio now totals 2,267.0 career points and ranks first in USC's record books for points (a statistic kept beginning in 2001). She moved ahead of Alex Jupiter (2,255.5; 2008-11).
- Bricio ran her career total to 1,855 kills and is now just 63 kills from matching Alex Jupiter (1,918; 2008-11), the program's record holder.
- Senior MB Alicia Ogoms set a new career high with 11 blocks (all assists).
- Sophomore OPP Brittany Abercrombie set a new career mark with 16 kills.
- Freshman setter Baylee Johnson had 38 assists and 12 digs to log her 11th double-double of the season. It is her eighth double-double in the last 10 matches. Johnson also tied her career high with five blocks.
- Junior libero Taylor Whittingham produced her 12th straight match in double-digit digs and finished with 19. It is her 22nd match in double digit digs this season.
- Freshman DS Victoria Garrick had 12 digs for her seventh straight match in double digits. It is her eighth double-digit match in the last 11 contests and her 13th of the season.
- Four Trojans scored in double-digit points led by Bricio (31.0). Abercrombie had 17.0 and was followed by Ogoms who had 12.5 and junior MB Elise Ruddins who had 12.0.
