Adams Takes Third On 1-Meter At Trojan Diving Invitational

Senior Deon Reid placed first on the men's platform while fellow Trojan senior Samantha Adams took third on the women's 1-meter on the second day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 14) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Reid, who placed second in the men's 1-meter competition on Friday (Nov. 13), claimed first on the platform with a score of 741.20. Senior Collin Pollard, Friday's 1-meter winner, placed second on platform (678.20).
In the women's 1-meter competition, Adams led the Trojans with her score of 486.50 points while UCLA's Maria Polyakova took first (591.35). USC fresman Madison Witt was fourth (481.80), senior Katherine Van Winkle was seventh (470.75), freshman Tabby Krebs was 13th (438.15) and senior Jacqui Suitt was 18th (356.60).
Competition will resume tomorrow featuring the men's 3-meter and women's platform at 11 a.m.
