MATCH NOTES
- The Trojans are playing their first-ever matches in the state of Iowa and improved to 2-0 in the Hawkeye State with their win over Kentucky.
- USC improved to 3-0 all-time against Kentucky.
- The Trojans won their 14th straight set and earned a fourth straight 3-0 sweep.
- USC improved to 3-0 this season against ranked opponents: No. 7 North Carolina, No. 10 Kentucky, No. 11 BYU.
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio had 11 kills to push her across the 1,500 kill mark. She becomes one of six Trojans in history with at least 1,500 kills and 1,000 digs in her career. The others are Alex Jupiter (2008-11), Jennifer Kessy (1995-98), April Ross (2000-03), Nancy Hillman (1985-88), and Katie Haller (1990-93).
- Freshman OH Alyse Ford logged a season/career-high 11 kills and 12.5 points.
