Junior Robynn Ree is tied for eighth while sophomore Allisen Corpuz and her even 72 today moved her into a tie for 28th to lead the No. 5 USC women's golf team during a rainy second round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate on Monday (Oct. 2) at the Olympic Hills G.C. in Eden Prairie, Minn.
The Trojans will start the final round Tuesday at 17-over 593 (299-294) in ninth after a 6-over second round. Arkansas leads at 6-under 570, one of four teams in the 12-team event under par.
Ree is tied for eighth at 2-under 142 (68-74). She was 1-under through 5 holes Monday before going 6-over between 6 and 11. She rallied with three late birdies to stay in the top 10.
Corpuz turned in an even 72 to finish tied for 28th at 4-over 148 (76-72) with five birdies Friday, three on a 2-under back 9.
Freshman Alyaa Abdulghany is tied for 39th at 7-over 151 (77-74), sophomore Muni He is tied for 42nd at 8-over 152 (78-74) and sophomore Divya Manthena is tied for 54th at 14-over 158 (80-78).
USC will tee off Tuesday with Baylor and Miami at 7 a.m. PT.
