Trojans take seventh overall in second event of fall slate.
Junior Robynn Ree turned in her second top 10 finish in a row while the No. 5 USC women's golf team closed the ANNIKA Intercollegiate with the tournament's third-lowest final round on Tuesday (Oct. 3) at the Olympic Hills G.C. in Eden Prairie, Minn.
The Trojans, who won their season-opener, finished seventh at 21-over 885 (299-294-292) in the 12-team event and 4-over today. Arkansas had the hot hand all tournament and won the event at 16-under 848 while UCLA was the only other team under par at 4-under 860.
Ree, who tied for third in USC's season opener, finished tied for ninth at 2-under 214 (68-74-72) with her three-birdie, three-bogey round.
Sophomore Allisen Corpuz tied for 26th at 6-over 222 (76-72-74) while freshman Alyaa Abdulghany tied for 34th at 8-over 224 (77-74-73). Sophomore Muni He tied for 36th at 9-over 225 (78-74-73) and sophomore Divya Manthena tied for 53rd at 21-over 237 (80-78-70).
The Trojans return to action Oct. 23-24 at the Pac-12 Preview in Kona, Hawaii.
