Corpuz, Abdulghany Lead Troy At Pac-12 Preview

Final round set for Tuesday.
Sophomore Allisen Corpuz fired a second-round 3-under 70 and joined freshman Alyaa Abdulghany in a tie for 26th to lead a three-woman USC women's golf lineup in the 36-hole first day of the Pac-12 Preview at the Nanea G.C. in Kona, Hawaii, on Monday (Oct. 23).
The USC squad, with only a five-player lineup this fall, was down to a trio while junior Robynn Ree and sophomore Muni He participated in the LPGA's second stage of Q schoo that ended Sundayl. Both Ree and He passed onto the stage three, set for November.
Corpuz (80-70) and Abdulghany (73-77) are both 4-over 150 on the par 73 course. Corpuz shook off the tough start to fire her 3-under second round that featured six birdies.
Abdulghany turned in a par first round before running into a bit of trouble in round 2. Sophomore Divya Manthena, USC's other entry, is tied for 54th at 16-over 162 (81-81).
Final round action starts at 10:30 a.m. PT.
