No. 5 USC Women's Golf Back In Minnesota For ANNIKA Intercollegiate

Trojans looking for third straight win at the event.
The No. 5 USC women's golf team, which won its season opener at the Minnesota Invitational, returns to action at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, Sunday through Tuesday (Oct. 1-3), at the Olympic Hills G.C. in Eden Prairie, Minn.
The Trojans are the two-time defending champions of the event, but are traveling back to Minnesota to try to make it three in a row at a new course.
USC is coming off a big season-opening victory, taking the Minnesota Invitational at 26-under 838 (282-276-280) for a nine-shot win. The Trojans' 26-under performance was their third-most under par total in a 54-hole tournament.
Sophomore Muni He tied for first at 10-under 206 (70-67-69), which is tied for fifth most under par in program history. Junior Robynn Ree tied for third at 8-under 208 (71-68-69).
He and Ree, both All-Americans last year, lead the Trojans' small five-woman roster. The only other returning Trojan is sophomore Allisen Corpuz, who tied for 17th in the opener.
USC 22nd-year coach Andrea Gaston welcomed two new Trojans in freshman Alyaa Abdulghany and sophomore transfer Divya Manthena, who tied for 14th and 46th, respectively, in their Trojan debuts.
