No. 13 USC Men’s Volleyball Meets No. 3 Ohio State, No. 9 Penn State In AVCA Showcase At UCLA

The No. 13-ranked USC men's volleyball team (3-2 overall, 0-0 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) will participate in the AVCA Showcase--featuring 4 teams that all have won NCAA crowns--this week at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, site of this May's NCAA Championship. The Trojans first take on 2-time defending NCAA champion No. 3 Ohio State (2-1) of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association on Thursday (Jan. 18) at 5 p.m. PT and then face No. 9 Penn State (2-0) of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association on Saturday (Jan. 20) at 11 a.m. PT. In the tourney's other action, the host No. 2 Bruins (4-0) will meet Penn State on Thursday (Jan. 18) at 7:30 p.m. PT and Ohio State on Saturday (Jan. 20) at 1:30 p.m. PT. All matches in the AVCA Showcase will be shown live on Pac-12 Los Angeles, with Anne Marie Anderson mikeside.
