SoCal Intercollegiate Comes To Marks Stadium

The 62nd annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships comes to Troy this week, as the event plays out on USC's home courts at Marks Stadium from Oct. 25-28. Today (Oct. 25), qualifying rounds are underway, with main draw action starting up tomorrow (Oct. 26).

The Trojans boast the top-seeded player in the singles draw, with #31 Daniel Cukierman taking the top slot for the main draw. Senior Jack Jaede also is seeded for main draw action, with the #125 Jaede set as the No. 5 seed. Junior Riley Smith also has secured space in the singles main draw, while freshman Bradley Frye has worked his way into the main draw along with his Trojan teammates after a winning day in qualifying today.

In doubles, those four Trojans will pair up for two duos in the main draw. Cukierman and Smith are combining forces for the first time in their Trojan careers, while Frye and Jaede also team up for the first time as a freshman-senior combo pack.
