Second round tentatively set for 7:30 a.m. start time.
The first round of The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., on Monday (Feb. 19) has been canceled due to high winds exceeding 40 miles per hour.
USC was set to tee off at 7:30 a.m. but play was met with multiple delays due to the gusty weather before the decision to ultimately cancel Monday's action.
The Trojans, led by NCAA No. 1 Justin Suh and freshman Kaito Onishi, are set to tee off on Tuesday at their Monday tee time. There is no makeup round, the tournament now set for 36 holes.
