Enos, Fusaro Clinch NCAA Championships Berths At Zone E Meet

Senior Dashiell Enos and sophomore Henry Fusaro finished first and third, respectively, in the 3-meter final at the NCAA Zone E Championship in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Monday (March 5), each securing berths into the NCAA Championships in two weeks.
Enos qualified for his fourth straight NCAA Championships after scoring a two-session combined 791.60 points while Fusaro finished with 767.65, 0.10 out of second. Fusaro and Enos finished first and second, respectively, on 3-meter at the Pac-12 Championships two weeks ago.
In addition, USC senior transfer Dylan Marin reached the final and finished eighth with 662.75 points.
Enos was second on the board at Zones last year, fifth in 2015 and ninth in 2016. Fusaro was seventh last year as a freshman.
In the women's 1-meter today, sophomore Naomi Gowlett reached the final and finished 13th (546.50) while sophomore Carly Souza was 36th (233.70).
Action continues Tuesday with women's 3-meter at 10 a.m. and men's 1-meter at 4:35 p.m. PT. On Wednesday, women's platform starts at 10 a.m. with men's platform at 2:50 p.m.
