Senior Allisen Corpuz extended her streak of rounds of par or better to seven with a 2-under 69 while junior Alyaa Abdulgany matched the score today, the duo leading the No. 3 USC women's golf team to a tie for third on the final day of the 2019 Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday (Oct. 13) at the Stanford (Calif.) G.C.
The Trojans made a run at defending their 2018 title, pulling to within a stroke of first midway through the final round, but ultimately tied for third at 4-under 848 (282-285-281) for their second straight top 3 finish.
Arizona State won the tournament at 10-under 842 while host Stanford was second at 5-under 847, one better than USC and Arizona.
Corpuz finished fourth at 4-under 209 (70-70-69), her second consecutive top 4 finish, while also securing her sixth consecutive round under par. Starting on 4 today, she birdied 11 and 12 to get to 2-under, birdied 1 and bogeyed 2 before finishing with a par on 3.
