The doubles point came down to the result on court three.
The Trojan tandem of Estella Jaeger/Danielle Willson battled back from a 2-4 deficit to tie up the score at 4-4. After once again tying with the Gauchos at 5-5, UC Santa Barbara's Khatamova/Lagarde made their final push by winning back-to-back games to win the set 7-5 and claim the doubles point for the Gauchos. The Women of Troy entered singles trailing 0-1 overall in the match.
