Park Leads USC Women's Golf In PING/ASU Invitational First Round

Freshman Catherine Park carded a 1-over 73 to pace the USC women's golf team during the first round of the PING/ASU Invitational on Thursday (March 24) at the Papago G.C. in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Trojans combined for a 13-over 301, tied for 11th overall. Northwestern is in first and was the only school to break par at 6-under.
Park is tied for 22nd at 1-over and is six strokes back. She had four birdies today.
Juniors Brianna Navarrosa and Christine Wang are tied for 39th at 3-over. Sophomore Amari Avery is tied for 60th at 6-over 78, sophomore Xin (Cindy) Kou tied for 72nd at 7-over 79.
Play continues Friday and Saturday.
