April 29, 2023 | Women's Rowing
LOWELL, Ore. – The No.17th ranked USC women's rowing completes two sessions of racing at the Dexter Lake Invite in Lowell, Oregon on Saturday, April 29. In two sessions of racing, the Trojans competed in four categories: Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, and Third Varsity Eight. USC comes home with four first place finishes, three second place finishes, and a third place finish.
TROJAN BOATS
"Overall, we showed some improvement from Ivy Invite in our morning races. The 1V and 2V both had great races. The 4V and 3V knew they could improve in the afternoon.
In the afternoon the 4V and 3V met their goal. In the 1V and 2V we strove to be consistent in the second race. The headwind proved a little challenging for both the 1V and 2V in the last 800 meters. So, as it does every year, the season comes down to the Pac-12 Championship to see who can compete for a coveted spot at the NCAA Championship."
