USC To Compete At The Arkansas Qualifier And USATF Indoor Championships This Weekend

Ten Trojans set to compete on Friday or Saturday
This week the USC track and field team will send three athletes to the USATF Indoor Championships to be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. on Feb. 16-17 and seven athletes to the Arkansas Qualifier to be held at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. on Feb. 16.
This week the USC women's team enters the week ranked No. 9 in the USTFCCCA rankings, while the men's team is currently ranked No. 7. The athletes heading to the Arkansas Qualifier will be provided with a chance to solidify their position on the NCAA descending order list and their chance of making it to the NCAA Indoor Championships or provide an opportunity to qualify, as the top 16 in each event get invited to the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Among the schools joining USC at the Arkansas Qualifier are Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Iowa State, Mississippi, Missouri State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Utah, UTEP, Virginia, Washington and Wichita State

Women: Jassani Carter, Madison Whyte
Men: Johnnie Blockburger, Justin Braun, Elias Gerald, Max Thomas, Travis Williams
The athletes competing at the USATF Indoor Championships will be competing with professionals for a chance to make Team USA for the 2024 World Indoor Championships to be held in Glasgow, Scotland from March 1-3. The athletes heading to the USATF Indoor Championships are:
