No. 17 USC Rowing Squares Up Against Stanford

The Trojans competed in a successful scrimmage against Stanford in 2022, but the results of this scrimmage were not released.
LOS ANGELES – The No. 17 USC Women's Rowing team is set to line up against Stanford in a dual at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at USC's Boathouse at the Port of Los Angeles. This dual was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 30 but was scheduled due to rain in the forecast.
The dual will begin at 5:45 p.m. with the Third Varsity Eight. The Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four will hit the water next at 6:00 p.m., and the Second Varsity Eight will follow at 6:15 p.m. Then, the Varsity Eight will close out the evening with the final race at 6:30 p.m.
USC is coming off a 3.5-3 win against UCLA and LMU. The Trojans took two of four scored races, the Varsity Eight and the Third Varsity Eight.
Stanford leads the CRCA Coaches Week 2 Coaches Poll at No. 1. The Trojans competed in a successful scrimmage against Stanford in 2022, but the results of this scrimmage were not released. Stanford is the reigning NCAA Rowing Champions.
In 2022-23, USC made its second of back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championships and finished 16th with 42 points. Under sixth-year head coach Josh Adam, the Women of Troy claimed a fourth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships and had junior Zoe McCutcheon named to the All-Conference Team. The Trojans swept crosstown rival UCLA in the annual rivalry dual to open the spring and improved to 20-1 all-time in head-to-head meetings with the Bruins. USC was ranked for much of the season in the Pocock CRCA Poll.
