
No. 2 USC Women's Golf Ends Stanford Intercollegiate In Third Place

Catherine Park was tied for second place individually.
STANFORD, Calif. – No. 2 USC Women's Golf rounded out the final day of the Stanford Intercollegiate, jumping all the way up to third place by going 10 under par as a team throughout the three-day tournament.
 
Catherine Park had a standout performance throughout the tournament, allowing her to finish tied for second out of 100 golfers. She started the third round with three straight birdies before getting a bogey on the fourth hole. She followed that up with three birdies on the 12th, 15th and 18th holes while getting a double bogey on the 16th. This caused her to finish the day going three under par. This, added on to her first two rounds, landed her at nine under par through 54 holes.
 
Jasmine Koo led the Trojans in the third round. She started the day with a birdie and proceeded to get four more as the day went on. This allowed her to finish five under par for the day and three under par for the tournament. Overall, Koo ended her time at Stanford in 12th place.
 
Elise Lee had a solid performance, staying on par through 54 holes. She grabbed four birdies and four bogeys in the third round to go even, staying consistent with her other two rounds. This was good enough for her to finish in 25th. Sarah Hammett's score also counted for the Women of Troy. She ended the third round going one over with two birdies, a bogey and a double bogey.
 
The Trojans worked their way into third place after starting the tournament tied for ninth. This is the third straight tournament where the Women of Troy landed in the top three.
