Senior attacker Maddie Dora matched her career high with six goals in a win over the Aggies
CARSON, Calif. – The No. 23-ranked USC lacrosse team (3-1) collected its third straight win with a 12-7 decision over UC Davis (0-3) at Dignity Health Sports Park on Friday, Feb. 21.

- Sr. attacker Maddie Dora matched her career high and led all players with six goals. It was her 11th-career hat-trick game.
- Redshirt Sr. attacker Isabelle Vitale dished out three assists to become the program's all-time leader in career assists. She now has 123 assists in her career, one more than previous record holder Caroline deLyra's 122 (2013-16).
- So. midfielder Reese Robinson scored a pair of goals.
- Sr. defender Alexis Niblock led all players with four ground balls and was credited with three caused turnovers.
- So. goalie Annie Shields posted seven saves and picked up three ground balls.
- So. midfielder Anna Regan grabbed nine draw controls and had three ground balls and a caused turnover.
- So. midfielder Lily Bunting had two ground balls and two caused turnovers; and scored a goal on her only shot.
- For the Aggies, Grace Gebhardt had the hat trick with three goals and picked up a pair of draw controls. Ella Brislin scored two goals and had a ground ball and a caused turnover. In goal, Ally Richardson-Pepper had seven saves.
- The Trojans won the draw circle by a 15-8 count and were the aggressors with a 31-22 advantage in shots taken. Despite USC's time of possession, the first quarter ended in a two-all tie. Dora scored the first goal of the game three minutes in and then scored again with 39 seconds left to play to pull USC even at the end of one period.
- The Aggies went in front by a goal five minutes into the second quarter, but USC reeled off three straight in a 90-second span to go up, 5-3. Fr. midfielder Kaylee Fravert and Bunting each scored player-up goals in that stretch and senior midfielder Christina Gagnon had the third. UC Davis put one more goal on the board to end the half down just one, 5-4.
- The teams went scoreless for the first five minutes of the third, but USC broke the game open with five goals in four minutes to grab a 10-4 lead. Dora scored first at 9:43 off a feed from Sr. defender Catherine Lord. Robinson then scored her two goals to sandwich one from Fr. midfielder Alexis May. Dora added one more off a feed from Vitale to make it a 5-0 run. UC Davis responded with a goal from Gebhardt but Dora racked up one more off another dish from Vitale for an 11-5 USC lead to end the third.
- Gebhardt pushed the tempo and put two more goals on the board for the Aggies to open the fourth quarter. The teams went back and forth without a goal until Dora slotted her sixth of the day with 5:03 left to play to make it 12-7, the game's final.
- The Women of Troy are back in action on Monday (Feb. 24) as host to Arizona State (3-0) at Dignity Health Sports Park. First draw is set for 1 p.m. PT and the game will be shown live on Big Ten Plus.
- USC improves to 9-0 all-time against UC Davis.
- The Trojans go to 77-21 in all-time home games and move to 4-2 when they play at Dignity Health Sports Park.
- USC moves to 50-10 against the current constitution of the Big XII.
