Trojans hit the road for the first time this season for a pair of conference duals.
LOS ANGELES – No. 18 USC women's tennis hits the road for the first time this season as the Trojans travel north for a pair of Big Ten dual matches. On Friday, the Women of Troy are set to face No. 18 Washington at 12 p.m. PT, and Sunday the Trojans will take on Oregon at 12:30 p.m. PT in Eugene.  Â
USC, currently 6-2, looks to make waves in the hotly competitive Big Ten conference this season as No. 6 Michigan, No. 10 Ohio State, No. 15 Wisconsin, No, 18 USC and No. 19 Washington all appeared in the most recent ITA top-25 rankings.Â
Most recently, USC downed crosstown rival UCLA 4-3 in a five-hour nonconference thriller at Marks Stadium. Following a strong performance in both singles and doubles, freshman Jana Hossam was named the Big Ten Conference newcomer of the week.Â
