
Trio of Trojans Earn Big Ten Women’s Tennis Honors

Emma Charney and Grace Piper selected to All-Big Ten First Team
LOS ANGELES – USC senior Grace Piper and sophomore Emma Charney earned All-Big Ten First Team postseason honors, as announced by the conference on Wednesday morning.
Piper, currently ranked No. 45 in the country in singles play, has tallied an overall record of 17-12 this season and has played at center court for Troy. In doubles, she's remained in the top 15 the entirety of the spring, playing alongside her partner Lily Fairclough. As a duo, the two have amassed a record of 22-6 all-year, going 9-2 in Big Ten play.
Charney, currently ranked No. 64 in the country in singles play, has tallied an overall record of 20-12 this spring, playing at the No. 2 position. In doubles, Charney is 22-10 this year and 18-1 alongside her partner Parker Fry.
Senior Sloane Morra also earned Big Ten accolades, receiving the conference Sportsmanship Award for 2025. "Sloane has been a leader on this team during her senior year through her on-court presence," said USC head coach Alison Swain. "She brings an infectious love for the game to the court in match-play and in practices. Above all, Sloane respects the game and treats, teammates, competitors, officials and coaches with that same respect."
