The Trojans won their third straight match behind a nine-kill performance from Sterling Foley
LOS ANGELES – The fourth-ranked USC men's volleyball team (11-3, 3-2 MPSF) won its third straight match in a 3-0 sweep (25-13, 25-20, 25-16) of Jessup (6-11, 0-5) at Galen Center on Friday, March 20.

- So. OH Sterling Foley had nine kills (0e) on 15 attacks to hit .600 and picked up five digs, three blocks, and a service ace.
- Sr. OH Dillon Klein scored 11.5 points earned on 10 kills with three digs and three blocks. It was his 74th-career match in double-digit kills.
- Fr. OH Cooper Keane had six kills and six digs to go with a block and an ace.
- Jr. S Caleb Blanchette put up 31 assists to go with four digs and four blocks (one solo).
- So. LIB Johnny Dykstra recorded 10 digs for this 12th-career match in double-digit digs.
- Redshirt So. MB Wesley Smith led all players with six blocks (two solo) and added three kills.
- For the Warriors, Jan Lopuch had four kills while Jonas Mueller had three. Logan Marks led Jessup with seven digs.
- The Trojans hit .260 to the Warriors negative .098 and had more kills (36-17), digs (32-23), assists (33-15), and blocks (13.0 to 5.0). USC also had more service aces, 4-1, than Jessup.
- USC rolled to a 25-13 win in the opening frame behind all six of Keane's kills and a .357 hitting rate (15k, 5e) on 28 swings. The Trojans had three of their aces in the first set and got four kills from Klein and three from Foley. USC held a 17-8 edge in digs and put up two blocks to keep the Warriors to a negative .031 hitting percentage in the first.
- Seven Trojan blocks and nine more digs held the Warriors to a negative .207 hitting rate (5k, 11e) on 29 attempts. Despite the struggles on attack, Jessup had its most competitive set, but the Trojans still won, 25-20, to go up, 2-0, in the match. Foley added four more kills while Klein and Smith each had two apiece.
- USC hit .400 in the third and collected 12 kills (4e) on 20 swings to cement a 25-16 win for the sweep. Klein picked up four more kills while Noah Roberts added four off the bench. Foley had two and Thiago Zamprogno had two kills to go with a block. The Trojans totaled three blocks as a team and again held the Warriors to a negative hitting percentage with seven kills (8e) on 21 swings (-.048).
- USC takes on the Warriors in a rematch on Saturday (March 21) at 5 p.m. PT at Galen Center. The match will be shown live on Big Ten Plus.
- USC and Jessup met for the first time.
- The Trojans moved to 8-2 at Galen Center this spring.
- USC logged its seventh 3-0 sweep of the season.
- A season-high 15 Trojans saw action against the Warriors.
- USC's third straight win is also its third straight sweep to bring the Trojans' run of sets won to a season-best nine in a row.
- The Trojans' defense secured an opponent season-low -.098 hitting, which was also a season low overall for Jessup.
