Park Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week for the Second Time

Park led the Trojans to their fourth consecutive win at the PING ASU Invitational
ROSEMONT, Ill. — For the second time this season, No. 2 USC women's golf senior Catherine Park was named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Thursday, March 26.
This is the third conference weekly award of Park's career and her second of the season. Earlier this season, she earned Co-Big Ten Golfer of the Week after winning the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic. So far, five different Trojans have won seven weekly conference awards, which leads the Big Ten.
Earlier this week at the PING ASU Invitational, Park led the Trojans by placing second to help USC win its fourth consecutive three-round tournament title for the first time since the 2013-14 season. She finished with a 209 (-7) and was in the running for the individual title until the final two holes. This was her fifth top-10 finish of the season.
From here, Park and three of her teammates will compete at the Augusta National Women's Amateur, held in Augusta, Ga. from April 1-4. USC's last regular-season tournament is the Chevron Silverado Showdown, hosted by the University of Colorado at the Silverado Country Club in Napa, Calif. from April 6-8.
