ANN ARBOR, Mich. - No. 24 USC men's tennis powered through a strong finish in singles play to secure a 4-1 road win over the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday.Â
The Trojans opened the day by claiming the doubles point, bouncing back after a loss on Court 1. Michigan struck first with a 6-3 win at the top spot, but USC answered quickly. In singles, Michigan briefly drew level as No. 10 Max Dahlin defeated Branko Djuric 7-5, 6-3 on center court, but that would be the Wolverines' only point of the day.
USC responded with a dominant stretch to close it out.
