LOS ANGELES — USC Men's Basketball senior forward Ezra Ausar was selected to play in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, which runs from April 15-18 in Portsmouth, Va.
Ausar will play for Portsmouth Partnership, which will play its first game against Norfolk Sports Club on Thursday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m. PT. Each team has three guaranteed games, all of which will be streamed on PrepSpin+.
The senior from Atlanta, Ga. was a key contributor during his lone season at USC. He started in all 32 games this season, averaging 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Effective at getting to the free-throw line, Ausar ranked No. 23 in the nation with 233 free-throw attempts, while his 157 made free throws were the sixth-most in a single season in program history. The senior will be the second player under Head Coach Eric Musselman to play in the P.I.T., joining Saint Thomas, who competed in the tournament last season.
