USC Women's Rowing Set for Big Ten Invite

SACRAMENTO – The USC women's rowing team heads to the Big Ten Invitational hosted by Michigan State from Saturday, April 18, to Sunday, April 19, at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.

The Women of Troy will begin competition on Saturday at 9:10 a.m. against Stanford, Michigan, Gonzaga and Iowa. In the afternoon session, the Trojans will start at 3:50 p.m. against Michigan State, No. 16 Ohio State, Minnesota, San Diego, Wisconsin and Washington State. USC will come back on Sunday morning to wrap up competition starting at 9:04 a.m. against Gonzaga, Minnesota, Washington State and No. 20 UCLA.

This is the first competition for USC since the Rocky Top Invite, where the Second Varsity Eight finished in fourth place. The Trojans' Varsity Eight and Varsity Four barely missed the cut and ended up with top-three finishes in the consolation finals.

This will be the first opportunity for USC to square up against all the Big Ten teams before the Big Ten Championships held in Indianapolis from May 16-17.
