Christian Collins Signs With USC Men's Basketball
April 19, 2026 | Men's Basketball
LOS ANGELES – USC Men's Basketball has signed 2026 McDonald's All-American Christian Collins, head coach Eric Musselman announced today.
"We are so excited to announce the addition of Christian Collins to the USC basketball team," Musselman said. "Christian becomes the third incoming McDonald's All-American, and he gives us back-to-back local LA area McDonald's All-Americans. Our Trojan fan base will fall in love with Christian's competitive spirit. He provides us with elite athleticism and a will to win. Christian comes from a winning pedigree, having won everywhere he's been throughout high school and AAU. Christian is a true positionless basketball fit. Christian can play all over the floor and guard multiple positions."
The 6-foot-9 forward played his high school career at St. John Bosco High School, located in Bellflower, Calif., where he ranked fifth in the SC Next 100 recruiting rankings. Collins averaged 26.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game during this past high school season, according to MaxPreps. He was also crucial to St. John Bosco's run in the CIF tournament. He grabbed 25 points, 12 rebounds and four assists while shooting at 56 percent from the field on the way to the CIF Regional Final. The MaxPreps Third Team All-American averaged 17.6 points and 9.7 rebounds through his junior and senior seasons at St. John Bosco.
Along with his high school career, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 12.0 points and 9.7 rebounds on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team WhyNot last year. He also played in the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit, recording four points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes played.
Collins joins two other McDonald's All-Americans in Adonis and Darius Ratliff. This recruiting class ranks third by on3/Rivals, which is tied for the highest-ranked recruiting class in USC history.
