No. 24 USC Women’s Rowing Heads East to the Rocky Top Invite

The Trojans will send three boats to Tennessee for a competitive two-day invitational.
LOS ANGELES — Making its first major road trip of the spring season, the No. 24 USC women's rowing team will travel to Oak Ridge, Tenn. for the Rocky Top Invite, hosted by the University of Tennessee from April 3-4.
The Rocky Top Invite will start with prelims on Friday, starting at 1:10 p.m. PT. Two semifinals for each race will occur on Saturday morning, starting at 5 a.m. PT, followed by finals at 9:42 a.m. PT. The semifinals will be seeded based on results from Friday's heats. The top two boats in each heat plus the next fastest boat will make the finals, while all other boats will compete in the consolation finals.
The races will not be livestreamed. All live results link can be found on the women's rowing team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
The Trojans will send three boats to compete against eight schools: No. 5 Tennessee, No. 14 Penn, No. 15 Duke, No. 17 Alabama, No. 25 UCLA, Clemson, Iowa and Minnesota. The Rocky Top Invite will be USC's biggest race east of the Mississippi River until the Big Ten Conference Championships in Indianapolis.
This weekend will be the first time USC's 1V4+, 1V8+ and 2V8+ will be in action since the Trojans beat UCLA for the Amy Fuller Kearney-Lori Guerrero Azbill Trophy on March 6. Last week, the Trojans sent three boats to the San Diego Crew Classic, where the 3V8+ placed second.
