USC Track and Field Sends Six Trojans to Franson Last Chance Meet

Trojans will compete across four events

AZUSA, Calif. – The USC track and field team will embark on one last regular season meet on Friday and Saturday at Azusa Pacific University for the Franson Last Chance Meet. Six Trojans are in search of season-best marks ahead of the postseason.

Chase McCallum will represent the distance crew, competing in the 800m on Friday. Jackson Norris will compete in men's long jump also on Friday. The hurdles crew of Asjah Atkinson, Anisa Bowen-Fontenot and Lillian Harden compete in the women's 100m hurdle prelims on Friday, and those advancing will compete in Saturday's final. Dajaz DeFrand is expected to run in the women's 200m on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Trojan men and women each took 10 wins at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet as the Women of Troy came away with a 93-69 win over the Bruins. The men fell with a score of 87-76. USC swept all four relays on the day with a new meet and facility record by the women's 4x100m relay team. Madison Whyte and Brianna Selby each set new meet records as well on their way to individual wins. Whyte posted a time of 50.78 in the 400m to take the win and Selby posted a wind-legal time and season best of 11.07 in the 100m.
