2007: Harris started for his second season at cornerback as a junior in 2007. Overall in 2007 while starting 12 games (all but Washington), he had 48 tackles, including 2 for losses of 5 yards, plus 7 deflections, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery and 1 forced fumble. He dislocated his right shoulder against Washington State and missed the Washington game. He was a 2007 All-Pac-10 honorable mention pick.
He had 2 tackles against Idaho, 7 at Nebraska, 1 against Washington State, 5 against Stanford (with 3 deflections) and 6 versus Arizona. He had 2 tackles (1 for a loss) and forced a fumble that USC recovered at Notre Dame, then had 4 stops at Oregon, 3 tackles and a deflection against Oregon State, 2 tackles at California, another 2 at Arizona State (with a deflection), then 4 stops with a deflection against UCLA. Against Illinois, he had a team-best 10 tackles (1 for a loss), plus an interception and fumble recovery (both led to USC touchdowns) and a deflection. He had surgery on a sprained finger prior to 2007 spring practice.
2006: Harris did a reliable job while starting most of 2006 at cornerback as a sophomore. Overall while appearing in all 13 games (he started all but Arkansas and Arizona State), he had 48 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss of 3 yards, plus an interception that he returned 28 yards, 2 deflections and a fumble recovery. He also returned 6 kickoffs early in the season for 93 yards (15.5 avg.). He had 3 tackles, an interception and 3 kickoff returns for 50 yards at Arkansas, then a tackle, a fumble recovery and returned 3 kickoffs for 43 yards against Nebraska. He added 5 stops at Arizona, 6 at Washington State, 2 against Washington, 3 versus Arziona State, 4 at Oregon State and 3 at Stanford. He had a team-high 10 tackles (0.5 for loss) against Oregon, then 2 tackles and a deflection against California. He had 3 tackles (1 for a loss) and 2 deflections against Notre Dame, 2 tackles at UCLA and 4 stops versus Michigan.
2005: Harris served as a reserve cornerback and played on special teams as a first-year freshman in 2005. Overall in 2005 while appearing in all 13 games, he made 9 tackles and 1 deflection. He had 2 stops versus Washington (with a deflection), Stanford and UCLA.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was a 2004 Super Prep All-American, Super Prep Elite 50, Prep Star All-American, Tom Lemming All-American, EA Sports All-American honorable mention, Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West first team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Orange County Register Fab 15 second team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team, All-CIF Southern Section first team, All-CIF Division III Defensive Player of the Year, Los Angeles Times All-Star, Los Angeles Times All-San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team selection as a senior running back and cornerback at Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks (Calif.). He rushed for 1,800 yards with 24 TDs and had 81 tackles, 19 deflections, 2 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions in 2004. Notre Dame went 14-0 and won the CIF Division III championship in 2004.
As a junior in 2003, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass first team, All-CIF Southern Section second team and All-CIF Division III while gaining 1,150 rushing yards (7.5 yards per carry) with 17 TDs and posting 73 tackles, 6 deflections, 3 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery.
He was named to the Cal-Hi Sports Sophomore All-State and All-CIF Division III squads in 2002. In his career, Notre Dame won 3 consecutive CIF Division III crowns.
He also ran track at Notre Dame, with a best of 10.75 in the 100 meters. Current Trojans Garrett Green, Shane Horton and Wes Horton also attended Notre Dame.
