2007: Woidneck, a one-time walk-on who earned a scholarship in the fall of 2007, spent his second season as USC[apos]s punter as a junior in 2007. Overall in 2007 while appearing in 12 games (USC did not punt against Washington State), he averaged 37.9 yards on his 60 punts. He also had 1 tackle. Twenty-four of his 60 punts pinned opponents within the 20-yard line and 7 traveled at least 50 yards, but he had 3 punts blocked.
He averaged 43.0 yards on his 2 punts versus Idaho and 41.0 on his 4 punts at Nebraska (2 pinned the Cornhuskers within the 20 and 1 traveled 50 yards). He averaged 38.3 yards on his 4 punts at Washington but had 1 blocked, then averaged 40.8 on his 4 punts against Stanford, with a 56-yarder. 2006: Woidneck, who won the starting punter job in 2006 fall camp as a walk-on sophomore after transferring to USC via Arizona State and then a junior college, averaged 38.3 yards on his 48 punts while appearing in all 13 games in 2006. He also had a tackle. Sixteen of his 48 punts pinned opponents within the 20-yard line and 5 traveled at least 50 yards.
He pinned Arkansas within the 20 on 2 of his 3 punts while averaging 35.7 yards. He averaged 41.8 yards on his 4 punts against Nebraska and 44.5 yards on his 2 punts at Arizona. He averaged 44.2 yards on his 4 punts (with a 59-yarder) at Washington State and 43.0 yards on his 2 punts versus Washington. He then averaged 42.6 yards on 5 punts versus Arizona State and 37.5 yards on his 4 punts at Oregon State, 34.0 yards on his 4 punts at Stanford and 41.5 yards on his 2 punts versus Oregon. JUNIOR COLLEGE: Woidneck averaged 39.5 yards on 42 punts in 2005 as a freshman at Mt. San Antonio Junior College in Walnut (Calif.). Fourteen of his punts pinned opponents within the 20-yard line and he had a long of 73 yards.
ARIZONA STATE: Woidneck redshirted as a first-year freshman punter at Arizona State in 2004.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was named to the 2003 Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, Los Angeles Times All-Orange County first team and All-Century League first team as a senior punter at Brea Olinda High in Brea (Calif.). He averaged 42.3 yards per punt in 2003.
He also started at safety and linebacker as a junior and senior at Brea Olinda.
PERSONAL: He[apos]s a business administration major at USC with a B- average (2.76 GPA). His brothers, Brian and Rob, were managers with the USC football team (2001-02).
