Bio
2013: Hobbi will compete to get into the playing rotation at either center or offensive guard as a sophomore in 2013.
2012: Hobbi was a backup center and offensive guard as a redshirt freshman in 2012. He appeared in 7 games (Hawaii, Syracuse, Stanford, California, Utah, Colorado, Arizona) and even started at Stanford.
2011: Hobbi redshirted as a freshman offensive guard and center in 2011, his first year at USC. He missed the Utah and Syracuse games with an arm injury. He won USC[apos]s Offensive Service Team Player of the Year Award.
HIGH SCHOOL: His 2010 honors included Parade All-American, Super Prep All-American, Prep Star All-American, UnderArmour All-American, ESPNU 150, Prep Star Dream Team, Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Orange County Register Fab 15 first team, Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West first team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, All-State and All-Region 4A as a senior offensive and defensive lineman at Saguaro High in Scottsdale (Ariz.). Saguaro won the Arizona state 4A-1 title for the fourth time in 5 years in 2010.
As a junior in 2009, he made All-State and All-Region 4A.
As a sophomore in 2008, he was All-Region.
PERSONAL: He is a theater major at USC. He and 15 of his USC teammates spent 5 days in Haiti in the spring of 2012 building homes and assisting those in need.
